I dintorni della Locanda del Podesta |
|

Portofino is located in the Tigullian Gulf, between
Cinque Terre and Genova, where you can find the most
long littoral of Liguria, also famous for the lovely bay
and for being nearby Santa Margerita Ligure and Rapallo.
Today Genova is not only one of the most important port
of italy, but is also an important trade fair complex.
In the past it was a maritime republic and it became the
leading commercial carrier of the Tirreno Sea. For
families with children we raccomend to visit the The
Aquarium of Genoa.
One of the main italian trade port and the second
Ligurian town is La Spezia, located in the beautiful
Gulf with a wond erful view of Lerici , San Terenzo,
Portovenere and the two islands Palmaria and Tino.
Portovenere is medieval seaside village from the
features colourful houses, dominated from the church of
San Pietro a peak of the sea. The village was much loved
by Shelly who named a cave behind the channel.
Lerici welcomes turists with its lovely view
celebrated by poets and writers, with spread villas on
the hill which dominates the gulf. The water of the sea,
sparkling of thousand lights and colors, is promised of
a fantastic stay, ideal is for relax that in order to
attempt in the many nautical sports. The villages
situated along the coast are San Terenzo, Fiascherino,
Tellaro.
Monterosso with its sea-front and the beach (only
in Five Lands) is better lend of the other villages to
accommodate movida and night life; under this profile it
is sure and just an optimal complement to the
tranquillity of Manarola and Corniglia. Very beautiful
and evocative carruggi of the oldvillages, wider spaces
and some car to Fegina and on sea-front.

Vernazza has been for various years the pole of
greater attraction in Five Lands, with to Monterosso.
The blow of eye is without a doubt most spectacular via
sea, or from the paths. The inhabited nucleus has its
fulcrum in the public square underneath the little port
and therefore for who sleep there the crowd can turn out
annoying.
Corniglia is a very pleasant and calm place, a
bit uncomfortable to reach the sea in reason of the
elevated position, but you can enjoy a fabulous sight
from many points of the village.
Manarola is without a doubt the most calm of the
Five Lands. Becouse of the late discovery of Manarola
like stay place, and partially to the simple style of
the inhabitants, who are against confusion. Very
pleasant are the walks that rotate around Manarola:
relaxing and little bit impegnative but for everyone.
Not to lose the great luminous Grotto ( 8th-dic
to20th-jan ) that occupies great part of Collora' hill.
Riomaggiore
is where there are the main office of the National Park
of the Five Lands, whose presence is testified by a
visible advertising activity everywhere in the village.
The high part of the village is characterized from a
recent residential expansion building, while the
carruggi are still the most characteristic roads of Five
Lands.Very evocative is the little port which is
surrounded from high houses, towers and impregnable for
the pirates who attended Liguria coasts. Wonderful sight
from the castle.
